PAID MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITY AT SISTEMA CYPRUS

Sistema Cyprus is pleased to announce the open call for five music mentors in the framework of the Creative Europe project ‘MusicACT: Activating Careers in Music for Youth’ in Collaboration with El Sistema Greece, Trillargento (Italy), and the Reina Sofía School of Music (Spain). 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We welcome applications from professional musicians who will be able to :

  • Mentor three young music students of Sistema Cyprus
  • Provide tailored guidance and industry insights
  • Support participants in achieving real career milestones
  • Integrate young musicians into at least one of their own ongoing artistic projects,
  • Offering students a direct opportunity to perform in a professional context

MENTOR COMPENSATION

€1,900 Total Remuneration:

  • A €1,000 Mentor Fee as a compensation
  • A lump sum of €300 Production Budget per mentee (total of €900 for the 3 mentees), for operational costs during the mentorship given directly to the mentor. It can be used by the mentor at their discretion including fees for mentees.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must be working professionally in the music industry of Cyprus.

MENTORSHIP DETAILS:

Timeframe: Early October 2026 – September 2027

The professional performance opportunity may take place at any point during the timeframe period. The timeframe window does not extend the mentor’s commitment beyond the agreed mentoring activities.

Locations: Nicosia and/or Larnaca, Cyprus
