A Summer Serenade

An evening filled with music, energy, and emotion is coming this summer from Sistema Cyprus. More than 160 children from the organization’s five orchestras will get on stage to present a diverse program that highlights the joy of musical creation and the power of collective expression.

A special highlight of this year’s concert is the participation of the distinguished violinist Roksana Kwaśnikowska, who will perform the Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso Op. 28 by Camille Saint-Saëns together with the Sistema Cyprus Intermediates Orchestra. The collaboration between the young musicians and an internationally acclaimed soloist creates a particularly inspiring artistic encounter, where experience meets the enthusiasm and the passion of the new generation.

The audience will embark on a musical journey from Russia and France to Argentina and Cyprus, through a program full of intensity, color, and emotion. From the explosive Slavonic March by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky to the majestic Te Deum by Marc-Antoine Charpentier, the concert showcases music as a universal language that unites cultures and people.

A special moment of the concert will also be the performance of the “Γιορτή – Застілля – Feast”, a piece by the young Cypriot composer Voris Sarris, adding a contemporary and distinctive Cypriot creative voice to the program.

The concert will be conducted by maestro Santiago Ossa Alzate.
